Of those who still has this engine, Can you take a look at the picture and tell me where the hose from the brass fitting goes to on the engine, does it go to the connection under the heat exchanger? we are redoing the parts of the engine and cleaning it up and we took pictures while doing so but did not take a picture of where this hose goes to from the back of the head exchanger that has houses the thermostat. thanks for any help

That brass nipple on the back of the thermostat housing goes to the hot water heater on my 3QM30. The return from the HWH connects under the heat exchanger at the drain fitting. I no longer use the engine for hot water or I would photo those hoses for you.

JIm, you are absolutely correct. How forgetful of me. I have those hoses tucked away when we started taking the parts off and so they were out of site and out of mind. Thank you kindly!!
