White electric panel switches replacements needed

John, As I mentioned above, I have n old panel with all the circuit breakers and meters. I am not in a position to post pictures.
Thanks Bert
We are just trying to get it together here with a plan...in the mean time what do you want for it?

John, sorry to hear about your damage due to pressure washing. I was going to borrow a friend's 4200 PSI washer to do my hull.
Fortunately, he never came thru with that pressure washer and so I bought a 2000 PSI washer. Just using that washer, I inadvertently knocked off some tiny pieces of gelcoat, (to be fixed later). An owner nearby in the yard mentioned that he heard or thought that gelcoat should never be subjected to point loads greater than about 1500 PSI. I am inclined to believe him.

Hi Steve
That happened last Spring ...we hired "an expert" for $1,800 ...each season. She did okay the season before but in 2015 I think she had her son give it a whack...which he did!...All fixed now. Our own new 1600 PSI Home Depot PW was worth it. We cleaned our boat this season ourselves ( I have had a few health issues and was too tired at the time to do it myself) Also for what its worth we took off one long section of SS strake to see the teak cap rail and amazingly it was in great shape sealed and all...re-bedded the screws back. Just have one small section to do near the bow. Where do you get the Perkins 4108 impeller kit from?

This is why you need to check your wiring! So far, they think it was a bad shore power connection that caused something to get overheated just several hours after pulling up to the dock. Happened yesterday to my friends J-40...very sad. 12 foot high flames. Boat was loaded up in the lift to be taken to dry dock after the fire was put out.

No...fortunately...it was a really great sailing boat

Switch is fixed. Just used Some plastic epoxy. Drilled a small hole in the center of the toggle portion and drilled small hole into the base of the switch. After cleaning both pieces with acetone. I just put the epoxy inside the two holes to make a better bond. Works for the time being till we get to rewiring some the panel. It's the "shower main" switch if you are wondering.image.jpeg

John,
When I rewired my boat I used the original DC panel plate but copied it at a water jet cutting shop. I got new panels for the AC side. Here is a photo
