Ventilation Scoops

corsaire

Stan Mathey
<div>I was out sailing my 383 the other day and inadvertantly knocked
loose one of the two engine vent scoops aft of the cockpit. It
went overboard and I was unable to recover it in choppy seas. I
looked at the remaining one and could not find a brand name.
Does anybody have a line on a replacement? Any help would be
appreciated.Al Tigner

Alan. I did the same thing a year ago. I have not got around to replacing the cowling but I have seen vents at BOAT/US which appear to be similiar. I believe that they are catalog items so you might give them a them.

<div>I had a similar problem as one of my vents cracked, and the other was badly discolored after 16-17 years of use! I couldn't find an exact replacement in the "slide-on" style so I installled the standard Nico Fico soft style which are permanently affixed. They've been on for several years now and they seem to be fine and they look great! Good luck with your fix. Mick (Chatelaine 382-223)
