I have recently purchased a used nesting dinghy at a good
price--$850 U.S. The model is a Niccolls Lite NN10, built in
B.C. Barry Niccolls, 854 54th ST, Delta, B.C. Canada V4M 3H3,
604-943-6468. He used to have a web site, but it seems rarely
up now. WWW.metroline.com/NN10/. Anyway, the boat is not
perfect--the aft end is a little heavier than I wanted, but I
think it will work. The asking price new is $1700 standard,
$2900 sailing version. I got mine used for lots less.
Also, during my search, I was contacted by a fellow who is
making nesting dinghies now at a very good price of $1400. Name
is Frederik Corey. corey427@juno.com. I have not seen his
boats, but if you are interested in this approach he seems worth
checking into.
