Can someone give me advice as to the most appropriate type of
cruising spinnaker for a 384.

Dave Bierig of Bierig Sailmakers in Erie, PA makes a teriffic single luff tri radial cruising spinaker. You can fly it from a close reach to a run without a pole and dousing it is relatively simple. Send me your address and I will mail you a copy of a very informative brochure

I use a North Gennaker, but if I were to buy one now I would look into one of the new asymetrical ones and try to use the advise of a good sail loft. Boat show season is a great time to Shop.
