Searching for a new MAIN

My 1978 Morgan 38 is in need of a new (newer) sail. Considering
the detailed "M38" stenciling and it's condition, I believe it
may be the original sail. A paper bag may be more efficient. If
anyone is interested in selling a 2-3 year old main, I'd be
willing to spend $1000.00, give or take, depending on condition.

 
If you're interested, I got a new full batten main for under $2000 from Wes at ProSails, used to be Mainland Sails. email me if you want his number.

Thanks for the replies. While at the SailExpo in Oakland, CA, I ran across a sailmaker who owns a M-38 and has made many mains for himself. He's in the process of making a new one for his boat and offered to make me one for a very reasonable price. Seems to reason that a Morgan-owning sailmaker has worked out the subtleties of our boat's sailing needs. I guess I'll find out. If anyone is interested in the sailmaker, post a message and I'll get back to you.
