My name is Pat.Gagne.I have just purchased a 1983 Morgan Majestic
39(which uses the 38 hull)Not many were made,if anyone has one I
would appreciate hearing from you.My problem is their is no dip
tubes in the holding tanks so it won't pumpout. So where did my
dip tubes go??? Do I need them?what am I doing wrong?.Need help
it smells bad.I'm using my buddies E-mail address until I get one
of my own.

<div>We have experienced a bad odor in the holding tank, Vetus, type and we have been told it is from the type of hoses that send the waste to the tank. We are going to replace the hoses with a Schedule 40 - 1-1/2" heavy wall PVC hoses. We have been told this is the fix. Good luck! We have a 30' catalina.Considering the other alternatives which are $8.50 a foot rubber hoses we will try the Schedule 40 type first! Good Luck with the stink!

If the holding tank odor is due to the hoses to the holding tank wrapping them with suran sp? wrap will seal the gases in and stop the smell. We did it on our M384 and it worked like a charm.
