Perkins 4.107 Maintanence

Hello Friends...
Geting ready to go out there ! Been giving some love to my engine. My friend says ... if your Perkins is not leaking oil is becuse it doesn't have any. lol. But this one is not so bad. On the other hand did leak fuel from the injector pump and needed some TLC over all. Here is some pic of this month progress .
The to do list :
- Fuel pump rebuilt
- Heat exchanger clean up
- Clean injectors
-Calibrate valve gauges
- Test sensors
-Calibrate timing
-Replace one engine mount

And also see what else needs attention wile im in there. I know that crussing is fixing your boat in exotic places , so im getting at it at the docks . That way I hope to keep the anchoring mechanical stuff to a minimum ... and get familiar with my horses.

Been at it about 3 weeks on and off.

Different heat exchanger/ header tank from my 382, I have a blanking plate on the port lower side, and the heat exchanger is on the starboard side a bit behind the alternator, a twin tube type.

Yes ... this one is an old 4.107 just a little difrent. I've noticed the 08 at the sides. Ofthen on the Port dough. There seems like few difrent configurations depending the years... mine is an CM38 , 1969. i think hull 27.
