Paint recommendation

I'm planning to freshen up all the interior storage spaces on my
383 over the next few months and wondered what type of paint
would work best. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
 
I'm planning to paint over the brown formica in my CM 38.
Any suggestions as to the type of paint to use?
I'm going to sand the formica with a 100 grit on an orbital sander. Then primer and then finish coat. Any suggestions?
