Interested in comments on Brewer designed 39, looking forward to ownership and membership if the extra foot is allowed.

Hi, is your "Brewer designed" M-39 the one that is the M-38 hull with a center cocpit deck and interior? If so, there are already a couple of them that are members of the Owners' Group, and you are certainly welcome to join.

The 39 I've seen is indeed a center cockpit without a walk thru space. I don't know if this is the original M38 hull or not. My interest in the Morgan 38's is too new to have historical knowledge. Our most recent cruising boat was a Pearson 365 so the M 38 would be a great move. It is fortunate to find an owner's group to support a possible new owner. I'd be happy to write two checks, one for the boat and one to join the group. Thank you, Mike

<div>My guess is that you have the M-38/39. You might contact Pat Gagne, a member who has the center-cockpit M-38/39. You two can compare notes. His e-mail address is illusion@cnwl.igs.net. By the way, you may have to write a check to buy your boat, but there's no cost associated with the Owners' Group -- as they say, the best things in life are free, or something like that!
