Show your love for the Morgan 38 with custom gear! Get them for the whole family! It also helps support this forum. About $7 of each purchase goes to pay for expenses of this forum.

I set this up over a year ago, but decided to wait & test the products. I previously had problems with the quality of some custom shirts I had made from a different outfit. These are very high quality and mine still looks great after 1.5 years, so I'm turning on the store. They are made and sold by a company called Spring (formerly Tee Spring), and I've been impressed with their work.

You can order your gear here:

I hope you enjoy! If you get some, please post a photo on this thread!

You know that will support you and the Morgan Board with any and all that you do. BUT! Unfortunately I do not wear anything in the color black. It's not any kind of social statement. It's just that its not a color that looks good on me. If the T-shirt or sweatshirt can be made in another color, I'll gladly buy one of each.

Hi Jim - Ha! Then I hope you never had a "gothic" phase in your life? It would be very problematic & difficult.

Here's the shirt colors they have ... how about the blue one? I think you had a blue one on of your photo meeting up with Keefer.

The artwork is white so it wouldn't work on on something too light.

Cheers,

I think I need to do some kind of "design" thing first. Sounds like a good thing for the morning.

Mark
Monday morning and I went on the website but they are not offering the shirts in blue yet.

Jim

Good morning, Jim - I think you might not have drilled in far enough. If you keep clicking on the black T-shirt eventually you get to the order page. Wherein it lets you choose a shirt color. It's not very intuitive, sorry.

OK. Ordered the T-shirt in blue. Now how about the sweatshirt in blue? It's starting to get chilly around here.

Jim

Jim - It's strange, I configured their store to allow blue or brown sweatshirts too. However when you load the page, the Blue option shows up for 1/2 second then it switches to only Black. I've tried contacting the company to find out why that is, and haven't heard back. My guess is they might be out of the other colors.

Keefer - you can just get both! That's what I did, so depending on my mood, I can wear the appropriate color ;)

Mark, any chance you can expand the color selection for the women's tees? Turns out Liza would like one but she shares Jim's aversion to black

Keefer - actually, with the Women's tees, unfortunately the only choices they have are black or a light grey. Seems really strange to me. Only thing I can figure is a lot of women might wear the standard men's tee. Or maybe they are short (like lots of places) because of the pandemic. Anyway, I turned on the grey option

The T-shirt arrived. The artwork is beautiful. The material of the shirt leaves much to be desired. I hope the sweatshirt, when it comes, is made with cotton as a sweatshirt should.

Jim

Hmmm. I hope they didn't change it. It's been over a year since I did the testing. I tend to favor traditional cotton t-shirts, but a bunch of people were telling me that the "tri-blend" poly/cotton blend is much better. Fabric is softer, maintains shape, doesn't shrink and artwork doesn't fade as quickly. When I was testing, I did both the 100% cotton, and the Tri-blend. And the tri-blend held up better and I ended up liking it more. It also costs a couple of bucks more. Maybe I should switch the store so that people can choose. I was afraid it might cause confusion/indecision with two different t-shirts.

The sweatshirt is 80% cotton, but it feels to me like a normal cotton sweatshirt.

Sorry. Again I didn't dig deep enough into what I was ordering. Could they offer the all cotton T-shirt in blue?

Jim

Oh, good! I checked into the store and they don't appear to have any 100% cotton sweatshirts. But as I said, mine feels nice & heavy and like it is 100% cotton. Also the Tee Spring store says they guarantee satisfaction, so if you are not happy with the t-shirt, you might want to contact them.

Take Care,

I was wearing the sweatshirt all weekend, comfy. Now if they offer the premium tee in blue, I'll be a happy man.

Jim

Jim - ok, now you have your choice of two different Blue premium tees (100% cotton)! And there is a maroon color now too. Sorry, I guess I should have offered that choice from the beginning.
Cheers!

I got mine! Grey t-shirt. The blended fabric is great! It stays drier than cotton, but much more comfortable than nylon, or whatever the typical UV protective fishing shirts are made of.

Just got my sweatshirt. Love the look, but the Large seems a bit tight on me. Has anyone else noticed the sweatshirts running small?
