Mast Conduit Size

tfrere

Thomas McNulty
i searched the archives but saw nothing that told me the size of the conduit in our masts. Does anybody know?
Thanks

Tom,
I just had my mast down, and the original conduit is between 1-3/4 and 2" dia. I'm just guessing, as I didn't measure it. Are you replacing yours?
Rick Noddin (Xanadu)

Thanks Rick. No, I am running some new coax antenna wire for the VHF and the television. Just trying to find out if its going to be tight.
Thanks

Tom,
Oh, I understand. If you didn't have any problem pulling out the old antenna, the new one will probably go through OK. I guess maybe you haven't pulled the old one, since you need the reeving line. Anyway, I had no trouble at all getting the wires into mine. I ran the VHF antenna (new RG-213),a 14/2 anchor light cable, a 14/3 cable for the steaming and spreader lights, the wind instrument cable, a radar power cable, and a radar network cable. The network cable went in last, with its connector on the end, and still went through without a problem.
