Marine AC unit location

I am close to buying a new AC for my boat and need to determine a good location. Since it needs to cool both the V-berth as well as the main cabin I think I am limited to installing on the Starboard side, unless there is a way to run a 4" duct hose behind the head?

If anyone has pictures of a starboard side install, I would be very interested to see how you did it and where it is located. Thank you.

I couldn't find any pictures but the previous owner installed the AC (Cruiseair 16k BTU maybe from as far back as the 90s) in the starboard area that I think was a pilot berth? Surrounded on three sides with wood that matches the cabin, water pump is in the forward most nav table compartment. Two directional blower vents on the AC enclosure that can direct the air but doesn't do a good job moving air in the vee.
