Impeller and gasket replacement

wild382

John
I'm looking for a good source for the four (4) screw gasket and impeller for the Perkins 4-108. There were some on our boat. All gone. Anyone recommend a good source?

I had a jabsco pump on my perkins engine and used their impellers. You would need to get the pump number. They are readily available. You might try defender or your local ship store.

Is this what you are using? Do you have any photos of it installed on your engine? Looks like it would be pretty handy!
Sorry, no pics and yes, I have the "Speedseal Life" installed. It's the run dry version. Removing the raw water pump face plate, swap-out the impeller is very straight forward...no screw driver needed!

I think I will try it ...do you know the cost and where to get it? I see the price in "pounds" ...maybe I missed it

I get the blue Globe "run dry" versions from Defender.
Get the Jabsco (or?) model number from the pump cover, then match it up on Defender's site.

Thanks!
While I'm waiting for my new speed seal I ordered from Transatlantic Desiel
