<div>I am looking to find a small, reasonably priced dodger for our
383. I don't like the things because of the interferance with
access to the deck and the visual obstruction they create. (Also
I always felt that if you don't like the wind and the sun you
should probably have gone bowling.)But, this fall we will be coming back up the California coast
from San Diego to San Francisco and there is sure to be a lot of
cold wind right on the nose so I have little choice. What I would like to find is something effective but as
unobtrusive as possible that is easilly rigged and cleanly
stowed. Does anyone know of a stock product manufactured to fit
the 383 or am I looking at a custom fabrication and installation?Any info would be appreciated.

I think your best bet and best fit would be have one custom made. For a simple basic dodger prices I was quoted on the East cost started at $600 and went UP depending on your requirements. My suggestion would be to have it built on a very sturdy stainless steel frame with grab bars on the top of each side. You'll appreciate the hand holds in rough weather.
Good luck.
