Cockpit Drain Covers

In doing some research through the archives I noted that several owners had problems in replacing grates for the cockpit drains. The grates are actually a fairly common drain cover used for home pools and are still being manufactured. I ordered a supply of them several years ago from a local retailer who handles home pool supplies. As I recall, the price was about $4.50 each.
 
We have ordered new stainless covers from Catalina ( I think they are made by Garhauer Marine) with a lifetime warrenty. I think they were $8.00 each. These have worked great.
