<div>I am in the initial stages of planning a bow diesel fuel tank.
Has anyone done this before? I have drawings for a 15 to 25 gal.
tank forward of two Nauta 23 gal. water tanks. The plan is to
fill this tank from the sole tank via a electric pump with a vent
back to the #1 tank and then gravity feed when #1 gets low.I have installed two 500 series Racor filters and can switch
between either when vacumn rises.

The system you describe sounds like it is full of "I hope this works". Didn't you ever hear of the KISS system? Keep It Simple Stupid.
Will the additional weight forward spoil the trim of the boat? What is the origional gallonage, 35 gals? Why not add additional Nauta tanks on each side of the cockpit? 15 Gal on eash side will give you a total of 60 gals and a range of about 600 miles. What more do you need?
