I looked at Steve's High Life a couple weeks ago. The pics do not do it justice. It is very nice and very well equipped. I would have bought it, but my situation changed. It is a good buy.

Nice looking boat sir. If I may ask a question.... where did you put the northern lights generator?

Thanks for the picture. That helps... what about access to the port side of the main engine.. any issues ? Also could you have fitted the sound shield and still made it work ?

So, are you done cruising, or getting a bigger boat?

Bob,
......what about access to the port side of the main engine.....
The access door to the main engine is about 30 plus inches long, plenty of access to the seal, the transmission and the rear portion of the engine for checking oil both oils (transmission and engine).

......Also could you have fitted the sound shield and still made it work?......
I don't understand your question. Fitted the sound shield where?? Still made what work??
The item to the right with the sound shield around it is the back end of the microwave which opens into the galley over the ice box.

Steve, thanks for the reply. Sorry I wasn't more clear. The northern lights generator has a optional sound shield that I don't see in the pic. Was wondering if there was space enough to have that shield in place, and to remove it for servicing.
On a separate question, how is the sound when the generator is running at say 3/4 load ? Did you install it, or did the boat come with it?
Thanks

Bob,
No there is not optional cover and it would not fit in this space.
When I'm home (we're staying at the beach) next I will make a recording of the sound and post it.
Steve
