I installed a chromed cowl to cover the drain hole. The hole itself is at about a 45 degree downward angle from the false floor and has a PEX plastic hose epoxied in to prevent water intrusion to the hull core. The walls of the pex are fairly thick so drilled out the PEX to make hole larger.
