I have the ZF (Hurth) transmission that was removed from the Perkins 4-108 in my Morgan 383. Replaced it with a new transmission.
The transmission was working when removed. Reverse was working properly. Forward worked just fine but occasionally, and unpredictabily, would not shift from neutral to forward. Sometimes required 3 or 4 tries before it finally caught. Then ran fine.
The lables have long since fallen off but:
Ratio is believed to be A = 2.14 B = 1.95 (at least that's the ratio we replaced it with).
The ZF 12 was a drop in replacemnt so the case is a ZF 12 dimensions.
Working when removed so may be a replacement for you if yours is not working. Expect it is worth rebuilding.
