The stanchion bases on my 382 are in need of replacement,
corroded and beginning to crack in places, after too many years
in the tropics. Does anyone know if these can be purchsed off
the shelf or will I have to have them custom fabricated?
<div>I too could use new bases for most (all) of my stanchions, could you please please make the findings of your search available via this board? Regards
Jose
<div>Brian,In the first archived bulliten board one of our members listed an address for the original fabricator of the coustom anchor roller for the 382/3/4s. He is still in business and had the original jigs for those rollers. It's a guess but he may have had something to to with the stantions also and may be able to help you. It's a place to start anyway. His work was excellent and reasonablely priced - always a plus.Fairwinds & Rum DrinksVic CopelanPS - I don't envy you your job espically on the port side.
