I am sad to say that I've been swindled $2200 for my Prowell
Sailprop by the US distributor - IMTA Corp., Eckhard Breineder,
in Annapolis. Although Prowell, come to find out, is regarded as
one of the best props in Europe, if not the best, they have had
lots of problems getting into our market because of schmucks (I'm
being polite) here in our country taking them for a ride. Prowell
is out $250k in swindled deals from 2 different distributors
they've had here. IMTA Corps owes Prowell $100k from delivered
good and still has 40 customers, pre-paid, out there flapping.
Please pass the word to order directly from the company in
Germany and not deal with anyone here. I have all the info if
you're interested in the Prowell Sailprop. To give you an idea,
for our M38x's, a 17x11 forward (12 in rev. or however you want
it) 3 blade feathering directly from Germany to you is $1580 plus
S&H and 1-2% for customs. That gives MaxProp a real run for their
money. Now that's competition I like...as long as you're not
getting screwed out of the money first! I would have never
suspected in this industry...live and learn.
