Proper Place - Storage

<div>Tom McGrath in his book "Voages of the Damn Foole" states what I
feel is fundimental truth. "everything aboard a vessel has its
proper place. Which ain't the same on all vessels, and it's a
minor miracle when the proper place is discovered."I am currently a liveaboard and trying to come to grips with
storage. Like Tom says every vessel is different but I would be
interested in the "proper place" my fellow 382/3/4 owners have
discovered.Fairwinds & Rum Drinks,Vic Copelan

Vic,
As you say, it is different for different people. Which might explain why people do not put a boat away the same.
Two things are important to me:
1. It has to be put away very near where it is to be used.
2. It ALWAYS MUST BE PUT BACK IN THE EXACT SAME PLACE.
#2 will drive me crazy, if you don't put it back, or find a new hiding place for it.
Have fun,
Larry
