News Letter Dues

I have just returned from the Holidays and read the postings
regarding the news letter. So far, we have $230 from about 17
contributors. This should be enough to publish the next letter
which I hope to get out by mid February or mid March.

Morganeers,
In the pre-dawn am we return to Katahdin in FL to complete final preparations for a couple of years trip to the Caribbean. Should anyone have any questions about our preparations, provisioning, etc, you can e-mail us, and we will try to respond promptly. Since we plan to depart FL in late Jan. response time will be slow after that. We use a little pocketmail system for e-mail, so please keep any messages short. I realize that this isn't much of a follow-up, but for some reason I was unable to post to the BB. We may not get back to the BB before we head offshore, so we wish you fair winds, blue skies and gentle following seas.

Congratulations on getting away. Have a great trip. I know Jay could use articles for the newsletter, so when you have time, maybe someday sitting at Blue Beard's on Barbados, drinking the best banana dacquiri in the world, write us all about your trip--whatever you want, preparation, passages, tips, good and bad. Those of us in colder climes can live a little vicariously . . and dream.

<div>Have a wonderful time and enjoy the Sea Change. Wish we were joining you. With a little luck maybe Lois & I aboard North Wind will meet up with you somewhere down there as we hope to take sail later this fall.fair winds and following seasRod & Lois Pervier
