<div>We have put a deposit on a beautiful 1985 Morgan 384. Pending the survey it looks as if this beautiful boat will be ours.
We are planning to live aboard this boat and cruise the intercoastal waterway, down to Florida and possibly to the Bahamas. My primary concern has been the vee berth space It feels a little cramped up there as far as having to get on the bed to shut the door. Since we are going to be living on this boat I would like to hear from others who have this boat and possibly live on them what is it like? We are hoping friends and family will come to visit. If you have this situation does this pose any problems.
My second question is about the laundry chute in the Head. I've been on two of these boats and they seem to use waist baskets in this hole in the countertop. My thoughts are to cover this hole with some type of cabinet door or opening and string a mesh bag in this space so that dirty clothes that are damp will not get mildew. Anybody out there done anything with this area? Thanks we are pleased to join the family of Morgan owners. All that I've read shows me that you all truly love and care for these boats.Linda
