I just bought a M384 and had it transported to Mass.
The mast was unstepped, boom removed and main sheet uncoupled.
It's two sets of pulleys with tripple blocks and traveler on
top of cabin. I could use help with setting it up.

If yours is like Njord's it has a multi part block with a becket on the traveler car and three single blocks on the boom. Bend the sheet to the becket, then over the most aft boom block, through the traveler, through the mid boom block, through the traveler, through the forward boom block, through the turning block on top of the coach roof under the boom, through the turning block on the starboard side of the coach roof and to the winch. For the control lines on the traveler. Bend the lines to the becket on the outboard blocks to the traveler and back through the fairleads and to the cockpit. Hope this helps.

I can copy a rigging diagram and mail it to you if you desire. Contact me at cyberbud@gate.net.

Throw the six part blocks away and go with a good quality four part. The six part is overkill and if you don't get the right type of sheet with the right type of twist going in the right direction you will end up with a twisted mess between the two blocks. I went with a four part system and it works fine in any wind that I have been in and I eliminated the twisting problem. When rebuilding or replacing equipment use the KISS system. Keep It Simple Stupid.

Alex. I just returned from Njord. I instructed you incorrectly on the main sheet. I also have three single blocks on the boom, so it appears we have different systems. Regardless, the middle block on the boom is the first block that the main sheet travels through from the becket on the traveler. Then back to the traveler, the aft block, the traveler, then the forward block. Unless you have a strong first mate or want endboom sheeting, I would not reduce the mainsheet purchase.
