After an atempt to fix a leaking stern tube, compliments of the
previous owner who cut out a seized cutlass bearing cutting the
stern tube as well, the leak did not disappear. So out of the
water again and this time remove the tube to replace with new.
Any wisdom to make the job easier would be greatly
appreciated.There's nothing more depressing than to tell the
yard to take the boat out again. I will be using a fiberglass
tube to replace the one removed and hope no leaks appear.
