Is $25,000 a fair price for a 1971 CM38....?

<div>I've got a neighbor selling a 1971 CM38 for 25k. It appears to
be in good shape structurally, but needs cosmetic TLC. The
seller's wife doesn't like sailing, so he's going to buy a
stinkpot. (I guess that's cheaper than a new wife...) It's got
a 4107 motor with an estimated 2000 hours on it. Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated.Thanks, George

George: Forget my comments on the Atomic 4. Had not read your message on this board at the time I answered your e-mail. I have no experience with the 4107. Hudnut.
