<div>Generally to all, expecially to LennyI wanted to tell a little story relative to our wonderful M-38
page aside from a great place for exchanging boat information.
Yesterday, while sailing "Am Morgenlicht" along the Norfolk
waterfront and mile 0 anchorage, I was hailed from a Catalina
anchored there. After hurried shouts of introduction as I
quickly sailed past "Moon Raker" close hauled and doing 12knots
:^)(OK, I stretched that by a knot), I dropped sail and returned
under power for further conversation.
It was our fellow M-382 owner, Vic Copeland, sailing out of
Washington, NC. Vic had recognized the name on my boat's side
from my previous net postings. He and his friend Mike were on
their way to Soloman's Island for the Catalina sail-in. Now I'm
curious as to why a Morgan owner would be sailing on a Catalina
and I'm sure there's a good story behind it, not within the
scope of this one so I'll press on. :^)
It seemed prudent to invite Vic and Mike to my house for dinner
after all, we all know how hungry for good food sailors can get
after eating "boat chow" for a few days. After an evening of
good conversation, brewskis and steaks, I was thankful that I
had the opportunity to meet and become friends with these two
fine fellows.
Without the existance of the Morgan 38X page one of life's
unexpected pleasures would have passed by without notice. All our thanks to Lenny!Fred

I live in Va Beach and my M-38 Evening Star is in a marina in Little Creek. Are U nearby. Give me a shout. I love to look at other M-38 and to steal ideas about how yours is set up.
