Cockpit Pocket Needs Repair/Replace

FredJ

Hello all,
The pocket (for lack of the correct name) in the cockpit on my 382 has become brittle and begun to break apart. Has anyone encountered this problem and found a fix. Found a replacement?

Thanks in advance,
Fred

Where in the cockpit is your pocket? That is not an original equipment item. Maybe the port into the quarter berth was replaced with the pocket. You could check out Beckson Marine in CT for a replacement.

My 382 has something similar, but trimmed with a wood bezel, don't know what was original, or if it even was?
Dave.

They are aftermarket, and available from several places. The nice teak one might be custom, by whoever built the teak grate floor.
Fantastic! Thanks Warren.

Be aware! If you buy from West Marine, you may be getting made in China junk.
Thanks, Jim. I'm with you. Avoid china junk if at all possible. As it turns out, I can't get one from West anyway. They show it as not available.
