Gudgeon fabricated time to sail! Great workmanship.

Looks good Charlie. As long as the dimensions are available, anyone can have this done I guess, out of stainless or bronze.

Having the dimensions helped but the astronomical cost of $1100 comes from the single piece of bearing bronze stock and programing the machine to cut out the gudgeon. At least the machine shop now has the program data for future gudgeons.

Charlie, I strongly recommend gettin bronze bolts. Those look like stainless, and you will have rapid electrolysis. Who made the gudgeon for you. Can I assume they have the exact dimensions in their computer CAD system now?
