Returned on Sunday from a 10 day cruise to Essex, CT to find, on a mooring next to mine, a very nice looking 382 named "Willa". The owner, Rich, purchased her the end of last season. He has been reading the posts here on the board, and I hope he will be asking questions and adding his views. It's nice to have new neighbors. Welcome aboard, Rich.

Thanks for the welcome, Jim!
This board has been invaluable to me as have been getting acquainted with Willa.
I haven't come up with too many questions that are not already answered!
I hope you are having a great cruise and look forward to stories when you are back in the "neighborhood".

Bonnie and I are home from our cruise from Long Island Sound up to Mount Desert Island in Maine. We were 6 weeks out. The weather was good with only a little fog at times. There was too much motoring and too little sailing. One of the biggest highlights of the trip was meeting up with other Morgan 38s. In Scituate, Mass, we met Pete & Kate Caruso aboard "Delight". In Rockland, Maine, we rafted up with Rick & Mary Dowe on "LaBene". Then on the way home we met Raoul & Lorie Ramirez aboard "Dreamer", at Block Island. What we noticed was that the people who own these boats are extremely nice people. Then again, over the years we have met many M38 owners, and they are all very nice people. Maybe it has something to do with their choice of boats?
