Bonnie and I were just out for dinner and were discussing an August trip up to Vermont. Just a long weekend or so. What town do you sail out of? Maybe we can coordinate something to meet up.

Closest would be near Charlotte Vermont. Maybe stay at a B&B nearby ...that would be great to see you and go out for a sail. Even if we didn’t sail it’s a great place to just go out to the boat. I’ll send you a picture. It’s very hot as you know...right now but August is usually beautiful.

Bonnie knows of a B&B in Vergennes. We are going to see what we can arrange today. We'll let you know.

Our plans never made it that far. The first two weeks in August I came down with a bad chest cold which put a damper everything. Towards the end of the month we were able to get away to Block Island for a week. We got lucky with the weather and had a good week. Maybe we'll get to your neighborhood in the fall for the leaves changing colors. I'll let you know.

That’s okay...it’s been a weird summer season...very hot and humid, tore my rotator cuff, health stuff ...we did get some great sails in, just seems to be over way too soon.
