TV Locations

I realize I should have asked this before I mounted my screen, but it would be interesting to see what other people came up with.
I don’t live aboard, and ultimately I want to spend time enjoying the water/sailing, not watching TV on my boat. However, especially with COVID, I find myself with the opportunity to work from my boat, so I needed a computer workstation that did not murder my neck.

I ended up mounting a monitor arm so that I could work at the nav station (and double as a nav computer if I ever get there), have a ”Standing desk”, and a TV for the main cabin. The arm is a little bulky but it is a trade off I am willing to make for right now.

Cheers

That looks like a nice heavy duty bracket. Is it easy to remove the monitor to stow or do you keep it mounted all the time?
Thanks for sharing your solution with us.
All the best,
Helene

The size of the arm is overkill, but I was ordering online without seeing it, so it was a bit of a crap shoot. I leave it mounted the whole time, each arm is greased for ease of movement so it would be a mess to store. I found it is not very intrusive in the "Standing Desk" position when I push it against the wall.
