Hello
Was considering buying a Sunyacht morgan 38 and putting it in the
BVI for SUn Yacht charters. After five years I would take
possession and maybe either refit for some cruising or sell.
How good are these boats? and what is their resale value like?
Sun yacht basically throws on a lot of bells and whistles and
adds a head in the forward port storage locker/closet.
ANy advice would help

We have chartered a Sun Yacht Morgan 38 about 4 times now. In fact, the first time was to try one out before purchasing one on the West coast. I now own one. They did not add a head forward, they come stock that way. Value seems to be holding pretty well according to the occasional listings. You should assume a complete make over and refit after 5 years of chartering. No matter which charter co., they always take a beating.
