Hi all, I have hull no.128. Still powered with the original Yanmar 3QM30H.
I’m considering replacing with a Yanmar 3qm30f. Has anyone here done that swap out, and if so, how much modifying was involved?
Did you mean that you will be replacing it with a newer 3GM30F, not another QM? If so, there is a weight difference between the 2 and the GM is a higher RPM engine which will probably mean a new propeller. I have no experience between the physical layout differences.
