Owner Video Tours

Another thread brought up the suggestion of people posting video tours of their boat. I happen to be selling Alpinisto, so I already have a video posted.

This was intended for giving potential buyers a tour, next time I am down, I may do a slightly different version tailored to other Morganeers which focuses on things that are non-standard on the boat.

Sorry for the rambling and any shaking video during the video, this was totally unscripted and a spur of the moment idea :)

Topher - thanks for starting this thread! I hope other owners will do a quick video too.

Alpinisto looks very sweet, and that wood heater *is* adorable. I like those lights you added on the headliner. I haven't seen those before - very versatile with the red/white and dimming. Nice low profile too.

She will be a great catch for anyone wanting to get into the M38 world.

And just so folks know, Topher is not leaving the community. He and his partner Christy are now partners with us on our 384 Zia. And he is going to help me admin & improve this forum. Yippee!

Other owners: please post videos. We will get Zia up here in the next few weeks.

Topher, how many watts of solar do you have? How old are they? Even with massive insulation upgrade, my 200 watts won't keep the batteries topped up when the fridge runs. I have added 170 watts of a "portable" folding panel made by Merlin. The 370 watts will keep up with the fridge and all electricity use cruising, at least when the sun shines.

I honestly don't know how many watts, the PV was installed a a previous owner; so it is at least 5, but likely a lot more years old. It is 3 rigid panels on the stern, the other day when I was on the boat and the sun was shining moderately, it was pulling about 14 amps, so it is probably a 200W system?
