Morgan 32

<div>I gather the 32 of the late 70 early 80s is a smaller version of
the 38. Is there anything 38 owners could tell a new owner of a
32? Is there a place other than the Morgan list on Sailnet for
32 owners to exchange info. Suggestions on rainleaks, rigging,
or sailing??? Thanks

Rain leaks on my cm38 were primarily in the boxes under the dorades and in some toe rail bolts but mostly the former. Both are easy fixes.

I have enjoyed sailing a 1984 Morgan 324 for the past 6 years. I had rain leaks around the opening ports that were fixed by removing and rebeading the ports. I would like more details on fixing any leaks under the dorade boxes and in the toe rail.

Leaks in the dorade box can be fixed by sealing the seams
from above with plastic resin. Do it on a warm day and unless the leak is massive the the resin will setup in the in the joint defects that are leaking. My leaks in the toerail were around bolts that I rebedded using silicon.
Good luck
