Installing new Auto Pilot on 382 (1978)

Hi,

Just purchased a 1978 Morgan 382 in the past couple months. One of the top projects I will be working on is the installation of a new EV2000 Ray Marine auto pilot. Any tips on this installation would be appreciated. Does anyone have experience with this model and any feedback on the performance?

Hi

Congratulations on buying the boat. I'm not familiar with that autopilot. Is it a wheel steerer or a below deck unit? Is it hydraulic or electric?
