What i thought would be any easy project waiting for epoxy to set. Change the anode in my water heater. I first had to buy a bigger wrench to get the old one out. New one in, and i have 3 new leaks.
It is a Raritan WH. Installed in 2020 iirc. And what kind if heater? I have an Isotemp and I don't believe it has an anode. It is all stainless steel, but that is no guarantee .
Well, at least it looks like your anode is doing what anodes are supposed to do!
Yeah, the more plumbing I do, the more I think some kind of voodoo is involved. Things that I would swear should not leak end up leaking, and then some other more questionable stuff does not leak. Maybe it has to do with the position of the planets?
Santa Claus just made a visit to our house, and now I've got some more plumbing to do. But I'm quite excited about it.
