My name is Gregg Forsberg my wife Denise and I bought our 1982 Morgan 383 summer of 2016, been on this great web site since then. Moved "Chinook" , formerly berthed in Apollo Beach FL to San Diego last summer, now enjoying the pacific ocean. Great insights and tips here on the forum, look forward to meeting you all. Gregg

Congrats on the boat. Did she make the journey via the Canal or Interstate 10? As you probably already noticed, this board is a source of a lot of good info about your boat. Don't be afraid to ask questions.

Where in SD are you? I used to be down near the SD Yact club...lived in La Jolla and Clairmont Mesa for a time. Sailed with Dennis Conners back in the 70’s. Kept my boat in Newport Harbor right by Joey Bishop’s, John Waynes and Buddy Ebsens ...spent a lot of time sailing to Ensenada ...

Thanks Jim, we trucked her down the I-10 from St. Petersberg to San Diego and put her in the Chula Vista Marina where she now happily floats.

I can imagine not sleeping at night while that truck was on the highway. Glad it all worked out well.
