I have a 1981 Morgan 321, the baby sister of the 38. There are a lot of similarities between the two. This is my boom end fitting. The two metal straps hanging down spin up and I have my topping lift secured there. However, there are two. And the strange offset eye and the D shaped bit with the 2 pins on either side are a mystery to me. I have my outhaul rigged round the cheek block behind the top pin.
