Bonnie and I are going to head North sometime in the middle of June. Hopefully will be stopping in Essex, CT for the SSCA Gam. Then slowly up through the Canal and on to Maine. Our schedule has us returning home in early August. If you guys, or anyone else for that matter, think there is a chance of crossing paths, let us know. As you know, we love meeting up with Morganeers.

Hi Jim, I think the plan is in August to do a three week trip south, Portland, maybe to Isle of Shoals. Are there any places along the way you recommend?Rick

Rick

Sounds like we'll miss you on this trip as we have to be home in early August. Here are a couple of places that we stopped at down towards Isle of Shoals.
Boothbay Harbor. Great town, lots to see and do. Places to anchor and a lot of marinas. We used the Carocel Marina.
The Basin. Just above Sebasco. Great anchorage, no services.
Casco Bay
South Freeport. Harraseeket River. Anchor or Brewer Marina mooring. Lobster Company restaurant at dock. Walk or cab to Freeport shopping.
Jewell Island. Cocktail Cove. Good anchorage, Get there early as it gets crowded, especially on weekends. Good hiking.
Chebeague Island. Anchorage, open to Northwest. Little services. Good Hiking.
Portsmouth/ Kittery. We just stopped for a night and didn't explore much. Good anchorage. Services available if you need.
Isle of Shoals. Free moorings. Pick up any empty ball. Open to the West. No services. You can dink into the islands.
Rockport, MA. If you go a bit further to the north side of Cape Ann. Great harbor, Only a few mooring available at the Yacht Club, call early. Plenty of room to anchor on the West side of town. Lots of shopping and touristy stuff.

There are plenty of other places in that area. These are some of the places we've visited.
