Bilge water

The recent Atmospheric River storms in California have raised the water level in my bilge.
However, I cannot source the leak. No water in the summer. Is the mast?
Nothing wet in the salon or coach roof.

I always get some water with rain. In fact, if my bilge pump fails, 2 days or rain will fill my bilge about halfway. Most is probably from the mast, as I can see water enter the mast bucket. Some could be from the pedestal, dripping behind the engine. Although for me probably not as I re-bed that a couple years ago. The vents from the bilge blower on the stern are large and open to the engine room. A lot could come in there. Or the hull/deck joint, which is basically impossible to fix. You could also have condensation on the sides of the hull that drip down to the bilge.

If these things didn't happen, I wouldn't need a bilge pump, so they don't worry me.

Agreed. One quibble: With work, we could fix the hull deck joint. I haven't done it, because only my bow leaks and only when I am constantly taking green water over the side. Remove the teak, glass over the joint. I just don't have the energy or real need to do this.

I feel we get more water down the mast during big storms too. More than I realised.
All the other places mentioned make sense to me too.
I was at the boat a week ago and the bilge pump counter showed it had cycled 34 times since the end of October. The last time I was able to visit her sadly. Normally I'm seeing 0 to 2 cycles per month. So a huge increase. Hoping for some dry weather to do more maintenence and repair work soon!
