I am 6'4" and just "barely fit" in the V berth. My G/F is just 5'2" and I get to use the entire foot area, so it works out okay. I think 6'8" would a little tight. As far as head room.....I cannot stand up straight anywhere down below, (except under the main hatch)
I have a 384....if that...
While pumping out my holding tank, my "pump out" guy stated that he thought my "vent" may be clogged. Can I check it and fix it? Where is the vent?

TIA,

We sleep in the Vee berth of my 384. We use standard queen "fitted" sheets and know there must be a better way. Any suggestions or advise to make sleeping more comfortable?

Mine is probably original (32 years old) Could it be repaired or must I replace it? Mine is under the sink and very high near the top of the counter top. Very difficult to get at with small access "holes"
I posted this problem some time ago and have tried a number of things that were suggested. After trying everything, I attached "pressure" water to the shower drain hole and guess what it started working fine, however, as soon as I pump it dry, I seem to loose prime and I have to start it up...
I purchased my 384 last July. My advise would be (if you have decided on a Morgan 38) to look at as many Morgans as you can find. I did a little traveling to view as many boats as I could. I found that I learned something from each and every boat. As I walked the docks, I met other Morgan...
I am changing my Racor cartridge filters on my Yanmar. I have a choice of 10 micron or 30 micron. Which should I use? I still have the Yanmar spin on filter after the Racor.
Thanks,
Gary
The west coast of Florida is getting hammered. The eye is now over Naples at 6:15 PM. The surge is yet to come. My boat is on the east coast (Daytona Beach) at a floating dock marina. I will have a better chance than the west coast boats. Good luck to all.
Thank you, Bob. I would have never figured it out myself. I found a couple places that sell parts, and you are right....they are expensive. I'm not sure if I'm happy I have a "Skipper" head. The parts could be a problem. I think I will open it up and see what I got.
Thanks again,
Gary
My bow light (incandescent) bulb has burned out. It's probably time to go LED. Can I just replace the bulb with an LED bulb? The current bulb is a two contact bayonet base @ 10W. What should I get to replace it? Where is the best place to buy it?
TIA
Gary
