That looks like a nice heavy duty bracket. Is it easy to remove the monitor to stow or do you keep it mounted all the time?
Thanks for sharing your solution with us.
All the best,

Congratulations on your new boat! The original seat cushion on my M382 has the board inside the cushion. I don't recall if the covers are zippered... if so, you could just get some marine plywood cut to size and install it that way. If you plan to sleep there, you might look into getting the...
Hi Jim, How are things in my home town? I finally sold my childhood home in 2018, so I don't get up there anymore. I hear Elmhurst is a hotbed of cases, but hopefully, there isn't much of a problem where you are. I'm safe and well in Delaware and the boat is still on the hard in Rock Hall, MD.
Wow! Are you in a marina where someone should have noticed and called you? It sounds like you have a good plan to upgrade the design. If you have any "Before" photos, please share them. I think I'm OK, since I had a marine electrician replace my panel right after I bought Hallelujah.
Welcome! There are lots of knowledgable folks here, so feel free to ask questions or just share photos. Have you been affected by the red tide I heard about?
I don't have any idea, but having a photo might give someone a clue. Can you stick a phone/camera in there with auto flash and auto focus? I've done that in places where I can't see... even to just record serial numbers on the back of equipment I couldn't move.
Early bird registration is now open (still free) for this years Summer Sailstice and free give-aways. In the past I've won a spinnaker halyard and a Hoby Sailing Kayak. Mostly they give away hats and T-shirts, so my prizes are far from typical. My Morgan is named Hallelujah for a reason :)...
It's time to register for the 2017 Summer Sailstice.

I've already won a spinnaker halyard and a Hobie sailing kayak... Most prizes are hats and T-shirts, so two big wins can only be a miracle. I'm just trying to share the wealth... and since it's free to enter...
Hi Bob,
Welcome to the group! Have you seen this post:

I was trying to find the story I heard about a Coast Guard officer seeing a Morgan out in a storm asking if they were OK. Captain replied the ship...
In my laser lab at DuPont we had halon, and I'm pretty sure our computer labs with the Cray used halon, too. I thought it was the environmentalists that got it banned due to the CFCs being bad for the ozone layer. Doing a quick search, I found a replacement for halon that is supposed to be...
That's a great idea. Thanks for sharing. I have Halon, too, but didn't realize it was outlawed.
Would CO2 be better than a chemical fire extinguisher or would that be a problem for venting after the fire is out? Dry chemical extinguishers make such a mess.
