i have a 1979 382, with yanmar ,3qm30- is shaft 1 1/8, or 1 1/4”

Ours is 1.25" on a 1984 384 but I think they're all the same size shaft.

Ken is right.
I have a 1978 which originally had the 3QM30 and it also has the 1-1/4” shaft.

I have had both a 382 and 383, they are both 1 1/4" inch.
