Fixed Portlight - Bottom

Steve,
Thanks! It was kinda fun. I made a small change to keep the relay off while the LOW level mode is operating, so the relay will last longer too.
Your drawing is more than adequate - looks like a nice little app! Don't forget to show the hole spacing and maybe a centerline that centers the holes along the periphery in the dado, especially if you are pre-drilling, or using holes already in the cabin side. If you are drilling holes yourself in the acrylic (or is it Lexan?) ask them if there are any particulars you need to know to prevent cracking. There are special plastic cutting drills that really work well to reduce problems, but if they do them, you won't have to deal with it. I'm thinking that they probably use CNC mills to machine them and they will look perfect. You probably know all of this, so just a friendly reminder - If you are going to put adhesive caulk in the groove, it will be good to put a 1/16" chamfer on the holes and along the surface edges of the groove where the seal will be most critical. Lastly, and you probably know this too, you will want to use fasteners that are smaller than the holes to allow for thermal cycling without forcing cracks around and between holes.
See you later!
Rick
