Crack below gudgeon on fwd edge of rudder.

discovered small cracks radiating outward along either side of gudgeon. My best guess is the rudder was constructed in two halves and then joined together. These cracks are a sign of that joint between the two halves is failing.
I've discovered similar cracks on Sarabande. How do you intend on fixing them? There doesn't seem to be any water infiltration judging by sounding.
 
Michael, I discovered the cracks in the rudder after I began a project to modify my 382 rudder. I fiberglassed over the cracks as part of my rudder modifications.
