I came upon this website a year ago and it is well worth the LOW subscription price. Lots of excellent information.
I saw the name a couple of times in recent postings. Just purchased a 44 pound Spade anchor because of them. Have fun reading!

We have been following John & Phillis for years now. I can't begin to say how many of the systems and gear on Dana have been recommended by or directly attributed to John's writings. While we will never do the high latitude sailing that they enjoy, we still believe that they speak to all of us who want to cruise comfortably and safely.

How have you guys been? When are you cruising down our way?

Hi Jim, we are doing very good. We are on our way down to Disney in a week with 4 grandchildren in tow. Will be lots of fun. This year we plan on a three week trip south. Not sure if we will make it as far as NY but if we do I will let you know. Rick

I've subscribed for several years now. Worth every single penny, in my opinion. Excellent website!!

Going to shift this discussion over into the Pub. If only we could get a cold beer there.
